Shrock Family Farm is looking for part time help for the 2024 growing
season. We are looking for a dependable, motivated and hard working
person to be part of our farm team.

Experience:
Applicants should be an effective multi-tasker, organized, detailed and accustomed to working outdoors. Suitable applicants should be efficient and fast moving, goal oriented and self-starting with little management oversight required. Market gardening experience a plus but not required. Positive attitude is a MUST.

Duties include but are not limited to planting fields, harvesting, weeding, bed preparation, washing and packing vegetables, and light construction. This position will require standing, squatting, bending, and lifting of 50lbs or more. A valid driver's license is required. Applicants 18 years or older preferred.

Hours:
Early mornings and sometimes late evenings will be required. Work will be done mostly Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The position will run from April to November, 20-35 hours/week dependent upon workload.

Compensation:
Pay is based on level of experience with entry level, low skill applicants starting at $10/hour. Compensation starts with a 45-day probationary period and pay is bi-weekly.
